I've read several guides and posts on making gold, and most of them seem to assume you have very high level characters. I'm fairly new to WOW (a few months) and my highest lv character is 33. So I don't have skills above 200 that I can make much cash from and that sort of thing. The most I've ever had was around 50g, and that was gone pretty quick between getting a mount and buying new bag slots for the bank. And I don't think any of my alts have ever even gathered a single gold before hitting level 10. I'd like to come up with some ways to make at least enough cash to afford some good bags in the lv1-15 range.
Here are the best solutions I've found so far:

*use the auction house for as many items as possible

*I was buying any disenchantable items that I could find on the AH for cheap, disenchanting, and then selling the stacks of the various dusts and essences for a pretty decent profit

*whenever I am travelling, I like to look at any vendor's stuff and see if they have any fairly rare items (recipes, etc). Often these can be bought for a few silvers and then auctioned off for a few gold. I just discovered this one a couple days ago.

Does anyone have anything else that would be a good suggestion? Good places to go for fairly low level that you can find some valuable items? Like just today I stumbled across Liferoot I think it was called, not something I've seen before and I was shocked when I saw how expensive it was going for. I might try to go back to that area and see if I can figure out where I got it. I'm not an herbalist so it had to be a drop or from a chest or something.

Any other tricks such as finding vendors selling stuff cheap that I could turn around for profit on the AH?
