Update your windows

Restart your computer

Download the bot and wowsharp:

(last updated 15-08-05 for random bugfixes, and new all-in-one package (patch 1.6.1 compatible))

Extract to any folder.

Open WoW, log in to your char. (Supported classes atm are Rogue, Mage, Warrior and Shaman)

Alt-tab out of the agme, open WoW!Bot.exe

Username: trial
Password: trial

Create a profile

Quote:

- Select the Class that you are going to bot.

- Press Apply.

- PRESS INITIALIZE !

* Rest Tab ( Click in Rest )

- Enter the values you think its safe for you and for the place where you are botting . . . Or whatever you feel is good to

rest.

- Enter the values and press apply.

* Class Settings Tab ( Click in Class Settings )

- Select the options you wanna you bot to do.
Remember that each class has its own options, here im just covering the rogue options.

- If you wanna the bot to apply poisons into your weapons, select what kind of poison you wanna it to apply ( you must have

the right poison in your bag ! )

- Do you wanna the bot to stealth ?
Yes ? Check the Box "Always Stealth".
No ? Uncheck the Box "Always Stealth".

- Wanna to bot to do the opening dmg with ambush ?
Yes ? Check the Box "Use Ambush"
No ? Uncheck the Box "Use Ambush" ( If you uncheck this, the bot will use CheapShot as opening attack" )

- Wanna it to pull the mob with range attack ?
Yes ? Check the Box "Pull with Throw"
No ? Uncheck the Box "Pull with Throw"

You must have thrown weapons in your bag !
No ! Bow and Guns dont work !
You must have thrown daggers/axes . . .

- Press Apply.

* Flee Tab ( Click in Flee )

- Enter the health value that you wanna you bot to TRY to run away from the mob. I would say that 15-20 is a good value.

- Choose the way the bot should try to run away.Each option depends in which place you are.
If you are in a "flat" place with not too much mobs around, try the "Flee by facing away from the attacker" option.
If you are in a place with a lot of mountais aor trees, or a lot of mobs or elites ones around, try the other option. "Flee

by running back throught waypoints".

This option isnt working that GREAT, most of the times you will die while trying to run away, but sometimes you have luck and

you can flee.

- Press Apply.

* Distances Tab ( Click in Distances )

- This tab is hard to say which value you should enter. Its really place/mob dependent.

- I would not put really high values here, in my botting options, i do always stay around 20-50 in those two first values.

- If you are going to range pull the mobs, i would put a higher value.

- In the Ranged attacks value, dont change it for the rogue bot, i would suggest just to put "10" in the "minimum" value to

avoid the "too close" msg.

- Press Apply

* Professions and Loot Tab ( Click in Professions and Loot )

- I like this tab. Most of the ppl would say, check "Collect Loot" check "Skinning" and blabla . . .
But if you really wanna lvl fast, uncheck all the options and you will get a much higher XP/Hour . . .

- The other options, i think never worked for me Ive seen t a lot of the times a chest just 5yards away from me, and the bot

wouldnt go there and "Open Chest" it. So i dont really know if these "collect" option work. Its up to you.

- Press Apply.

* Durability Tab ( Click in Durability )

- Well, we are configuring the rogue bot, so i do always check the Mainand Offhand options . . .
The Armor and Range options arent that important as a rogue.
But if your main weapons break, you will not be able to kill, so i check only the :
Mainhand / 2h Option
Offhand Option

- If one of these option is true ( one of the weapons breaks ) i would like it to pause the bot and hearthstone, and i might

get afk and it will automactly logout.

So i check the Pause Bot and Use Hearthstone options too . . .
But its up to you, which option is important.

- Press Apply.

Now is one of the most important part of the bot settings . . .
So pay attention.

* Patrol Areas Tab ( Click in Patrol Areas )

- This is the tab where you are going to set the waypoints for the area where you are going to KILL MOBS.

- As a rogue, for me, is really easy to set and take the good waypoints.
I stealth and click the "AutoAdd" button. And start walking to the places where the mobs are. I dont need to get really near

the mob, just get near it, and then move to the next mob.
A good place to bot is where there are a loot of mobs, but not GROUPED. avoid places where mobs are "linked" to eachother.

And try to get place where mobs are 1-2 lvls under ur lvl.

- Click "Add Area" and enter a name.

- Get into a place not too far away from the mobs. lets call this the "starting place" ( remember this place, bcse it will be

important in a next step ).

- So you are at your "starting place" where there is no mobs really near it, but somewhat "watchable" from there. so now

click the "AUTO ADD" button and start walking toward the mobs you wanna kill.( go stealthed )

- As you walk, the bot will autoadd waypoints. so walk everywhere where you wanna go to kill mobs. Its good to add a lot of

waypoints ( walk a lot ) bcse this will avoid that ppl think that you are botting.

- Try to walk near about 10-15 mobs, its a good lenght . . . and as you finish the route, the first mobs might be respawning

already.

- So you walked already NEAR the mobs. Go back to the BOTWINDOW and click the flashing button "Stop Auto".

- Press Apply.

- Nice your Patrol Waypoints Route is done.

* Travel Paths Tab ( Click in Travel Paths )

- Explanation, here is the "Death Run". Its the way you set from the graveyard to the "starting place"

- Click "Add Path" and enter a name.

- Go to the NEAREST GRAVEYARD.

- Stand exaclty at the middle of the graveyard then go to the BOTWINDOW and click the "auto add" button and start running.

- Run to the "STARTING PLACE" ( Remember ? I talked about it in the Patrol Areas Section )

- When you get there, go to the bot window and press "Stop Auto"

- Press Apply.

- Gratz, your Travel Paths Route is done.

The reason actually isnt what some had thought (movement being restricted in last patch) but due to some changes in the number of parameters (one of the few things that the DLL cant handle automaticaly).

This issue has been resolved, and tested.

As a result, you will need to update your bots, or recompile them using the new WoWSharp DLL.

THIS IS FOR 1.6 USERS ONLY. IT IS NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE, EU USERS WAIT FOR THE PATCH.

EU PPL can now also update as we had the patch

I did do an update from the latest SVN for WoWBot, but (due to me not having given ShadowWolfDK access to SVN) the fisher is still the 'original' version.

As you might have noticed, the server is having a bit of a hard time, this isnt the only (popular) site hosted on this server, but it was the one to actually cause it to get into trouble... The ISP has informed me that this week, or early next week, they will upgrade the server... Until that time, WoWSharp will stay free due to possible service interruptions...

the newest versions out are WoW!Sharp Applications v1.2.2057.r4 but they still are not working, this includes WoWFisher, WoWSharp and WoWRadar. Ive tried downloading them all individually but the links on the main site are broken...

WoWSharp has shut down, the devs abandoned the project and it is now open source. So far it doesnt look like anyone wants to take it over.
