Increased drops via Henchmen w/ Smite Runs
Recently ANet made it so it would be more profitable to group with players when killing things. But we don't want all that loot going to random noobs now, do we?
The trick is to use henchies! But wait, you say. Henchmen steal all our drops!
Not if you get them killed Cool
Observe:
Take a few squishy henchies (mage / cultist) with you at your favorite farming / mission spot. Find the nearest, largest mob and aggro. Let the henchies die. Move away from the henchies (until you cannot see the gray blips on the radar) and start killing mobs.
Right away you will notice all the drops are for YOU. This is because once you get out of radar range from henchmen, the game will be tricked into thinking that you are alone.
Not to mention that more drops will be blue/purp/gold than white, and you may find more bosses in the area than if you went solo, depending on the location. This is because ANet nerfed soloing for farming and whatnot, but you're essentially tricking the game by grouping. With dead henchmen.
This trick also works with real players, try it. Group up and get as far away from your group as possible. Find a barrel, etc. ALL the drops will be for you, and there will be alot. Much more than if you went on your own.
